How do you know what you don’t know?
Who around you has the balls to tell you that you screwed up or you’re on the wrong track?
We all need to have at least a couple of people who can do this in our lives.
The world is a classroom and everyone is a teacher - but that doesn’t matter if we’re not open to learning from experience, and if we don’t have people around us who tell us the truth.
Can you handle the truth?
Maybe it’s the tie you’re wearing, maybe your haircut isn’t right, maybe you screwed up the negotiation…all this stuff is important to know so it you don’t repeat it.
At the same time, you have to be honest with yourself and be able to step outside of yourself and be able to tell yourself the truth.
So who is your truthful person? Who can tell you what you may not want to hear but need to hear?
