Faith Or Fear

faith (n): confidence or trust in a person or thing.

My friend Jon Gordon; who I was fortunate enough to do a great podcast with la few years ago, often talks about the differences between faith and fear. You can't have faith and fear at the same time.

If you're in a fearful state of mind, you have to remind yourself about the love and passion you have for what you're doing. When life gets stressful, it's hard to put things in perspective and take the time to reflect on and recreate the why. The ability for you to remain faithful through all of the twists and turns life throws at you can often be very rewarding.

Legendary closer Mariano Rivera has remained faithful all throughout his storied career. He feels that sticking to his faith allowed him to learn the cutter and to play an integral role on 5 World Series winning teams.

Here is a recent clip of Mariano discussing the role faith plays in his life:

So, what's it going to be? Will you live in faith or fear? You can only choose one.
