I have had the pleasure of being able to work with Dana Cavalea for a while now. He used to be the Director of Strength and Conditioning for the New York Yankees and was with the organization for 12 years, winning a World Series in 2009. In addition, he was the recipient of the 2009 MLB Nolan Ryan Award. This award is given to MLB's top Strength Coach as voted by his peers.
Dana has always given me great advice including, most notably that you cannot outwork bad nutrition.
A few years ago he founded ML Strength, which now has four locations in New York focused on training, rehabilitation and optimal functional performance.
Dana has worked with the best athletes in the world and his facilities are second-to-none.
He always puts up quick tips together and today I want to share one, which would be great for anyone interested in getting started ont he road to living healthy.
Almost beach weather on the east coast believe it or not, so it's time to pay attention.
