Two Things I Learned About Leadership from Jeffrey Gitomer

If you want to know how to sell, you need to get to know Jeffrey Gitomer. The author of The Little Red Book of Selling, Jeffrey’s books have been appeared on best-seller lists more than 850 times and he has sold millions of copies worldwide.

Why? Because he is a sales expert.

I read one of his blogs recently and wanted to give you my favorite two things I learned about inspiration and leadership.

There's a lot to learn from a legend like John Wooden.

Study them, and do what they did

Who better to learn from than the people that did it already? Inspiration isn’t going to come from just anywhere, so you should be looking at the experts in your field to see how they got to where they are. Always be learning.

A leader’s ability to accept change – adapt to change, convert change into opportunity, and communicate that opportunity to your team – is at the fulcrum point of their ability to succeed.

As a leader, manager, parent, or anybody that has a responsibility to guide others, you have to understand that its not always about having all the answers. You could be the best coach in the country, but if you can’t relay to your team the information they need to win on the field, there’s no championship in your future.

What are your best leadership tips?
