Just Because You Get Something for Free, It Doesn’t Mean There’s No Value

We always have this problem with our kids where they expect everything: food, clothing and all of the necessary things in life. Unfortunately, some people don’t have those things at all.

You go to your office and you have healthcare, snacks to keep you energized throughout the day, a desk and a computer. Those things are almost always all a given.

When something doesn’t cost you anything and you’re not paying for what you receive, in your mind it is harder to attribute value to it. In reality, you need to appreciate the regular, every-day, ordinary things. Everything has value and should be appreciated.
