Happy Holidays! Happy New Year!

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who gave me inspiration this past year in writing my blog.

And a big thank you to all the guest bloggers who contributed to it.  I felt so very fortunate to have such highly regarded experts be a part of my blog.

I also wanted to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to read my blog and allow me to share my thoughts – and grateful that you share yours with me, in the feedback you’ve given me, mentioning ways I could improve my blog.  I am also grateful for the emails sharing how in some small (or big) way my blog helped to change the way you think and live your life in a more positive way.

Going into a new year, I realized whether it’s 2013 or 2014, these “Steinerisms” hold true:

  • Do as much as you can, as often as you can, for as many people as you can – and expect nothing back.

  • Always remember that when you say YES to something you’re saying NO to something else.

  • Don’t regret where you’ve been if you like where you are.

  • All of us is better than some of us.

  • Rome wasn’t built in a day, but I’m sure they were working every day to build it.

  • It’s not the game, it’s the game plan.

  • Be like a turtle – hard outside, soft inside and willing to stick your neck out.

  • It’s not who you know.  It’s not what you know.  It’s what you know about whom.

  • If you’re not making mistakes, you’re not learning.

  • All communication is not equal – i.e., pick up the phone once in a while.

  • The first 90 seconds of your day is the most important part of your day.

  • Always ask “What Else?”

  • My mother always said:  “it’s our job to do the right thing and to help others.  Give to Give.  Don’t give to judge.”

I look forward to 2014 being a year in which my blog reaches more readers and provides continued insight and knowledge that will help you improve your life.  Best wishes to all for a very Happy Holiday Season and a Happy Healthy New Year!
