It's one thing to be socially distant. But that doesn't mean you should be emotionally and spiritually distanced. We can't be living by the terms "out of sight, out of mind." My friend, who runs a number of medical centers in Pennsylvania, told me that he implemented "No Pass Zones" everywhere. A "No Pass Zone" means that no matter what you're doing or who you are, if you pass somebody who needs help, you drop everything to help them!
I think we all know by now that our health workers have been our heroes. The fact of the matter is, now is a time that we all must implement No Passing Zones in our offices and in all aspects of our lives. We all must show leadership, and not pass by ANYBODY who needs our help.
We'll be passing by a lot of people in the next few months. So you might have to go out of your way to make sure that you pass by people who need your help the most.
We need to implement "No Pass Zones" in our daily diet. Go through your old emails and see who you haven't connected with in the past few months. Reach out, check in, see how they're doing. Check in with friends you normally see, and those who you check in and have a normal rapport with.
You should keep up with everybody that you can, help everybody that you can, as often as you can.
Incorporate a "No Pass Zone" in every aspect of your life.
