Innovation and being a disruptor in your industry are two things I am a HUGE fan of. I recently got connected with Scott Jordan, co-founder and CEO of SCOTTeVEST, a clothing company which specializes in garments with conduit systems and specialized pockets and compartments for holding mobile phones, tablets and other portable electronic devices and managing and controlling their wires.
Scott describes his company's products as travel clothing that doesn't look like travel clothing and his work has gained notoriety across the business world. Scott appeared on the third season of ABC's Shark Tank, where he famously turned down a seven-figure investment offer, and has also been featured in publication such as Entrepreneur Magazine, Huffington Post, Forbes, Tech Crunch and others.
Scott released a book called Pocket Man: The Unauthorized Autobiography of a Passionate, Personal Promoter. It tells Scott's story about building his "pocket empire" and how he's promoted his company. He talks in-depth about his Shark Tank experience and there's even a foreword from Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak, who happens sits on the advisory board for SCOTTeVEST.
challenges. Here's a guy that has had an enormous amount of success building his business and part of the reason why is because he has encountered challenges that he was able to overcome. It really shows that anyone is capable of making an impact in their chosen field.
I hope you enjoy.
