Was talking with my friend Alex Mandossian recently and he told me that leadership is an Indo-European word.
“Lea” means path and “der” means finder.
A leader finds a path for people to follow. They can spot warning signs and can recognize opportunity.
But as a leader, before you can show a path for others you must find your own path. That’s one of the biggest keys that gets lost…and leadership is a lost art.
Is it all about results and numbers? …seems to be these days.
