My daughter’s blog last week about dressing properly to make the right first impression got me thinking about how important first impressions truly are.
The big question is how are you ultimately going to meet someone? Beyond just how you look, don’t you think that who introduces you/the way you’re introduced is important?
People have the potential to know a lot about you if you are introduced properly. You have to be careful. Make sure you have the appropriate person and place when you’re trying to meet someone. Getting acquainted with someone through a mutual connection can be detrimental just as often as it is helpful.
So my advice: choose wisely.
Figure out who your most reliable connections are and ask yourself, “Can I trust this person with my reputation?”
