Here are some powerful maxims that have come across my desk in the last few weeks. Each could be a blog itself, but you know, sometimes less is more:
It's nice to be important. It's more important to be NICE.
As a parent, you’re only as happy as your unhappiest child.
Don’t make BIG LIFE DECISIONS when you’re coming off a loss. (after a breakup, or losing a job, etc.)
Half of knowing what you want is knowing what you must GIVE UP before you get it.
It’s okay to be pissed, just don’t be petty.
Change is inevitable – except from a vending machine.
If I agree with you, we’ll both be wrong.
Why do people say “Good Evening,” then proceed to tell you why it’s not?
KNOWLEDGE is knowing tomato is a fruit. WISDOM is not putting a tomato in fruit salad.
